Food & Beverage Attendant I Mornington

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Casual Food & Beverage Attendant to join the PLG team at Steeples in Mornington. This is a unique role where no two days are the same! You’ll deliver exceptional service in our bar and dining areas while also safely operating our 12-seater courtesy bus to transport guests around the local area from Thursday to Sunday evenings.

The successful candidate will be a reliable and approachable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and takes pride in delivering memorable experiences for every patron.

Located on the Mornington Peninsula, Steeples is a dining and entertainment complex situated next to the Mornington Racecourse. Featuring modern facilities including a family friendly bistro, a designated kids play area and an alfresco deck; there are dining experiences for all to enjoy. Along with an extensive modern menu with daily specials, Steeples caters to both children and adults alike.

What will my duties include?

• Deliver outstanding service, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience from start to finish.
• Operate the courtesy bus safely and professionally, providing transport to and from the venue. (Around the local Mornington area)
• Assist with bar and venue operations when not driving, including serving food and beverages.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across both service areas and the bus.

The role you are applying for may be quite fast-paced and require you to complete tasks including but not limited to lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods of time, and utilising stairs.

What we are looking for: 

• Current and valid driver’s licence (minimum 5 years of experience driving)
• Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA).
• Excellent Customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, particularly Thursday to Sunday evenings.
